🙋INSPIRING OSTOMATE FEATURE 🧡🧡🧡
@ivanka14

I got my ileostomy surgery done September of 2018. I failed yet again another medicine and didn’t have any real options left. I was in the hospital for a week with the hope IV steroids would help me get out of a horrible flare. I got diagnosed with ulcerative colitis back in 2012.

Thankfully, I have been blessed with an amazing, patient and supportive husband and parents. They have help me on hard days by being caring and understanding. It’s always makes it easier when you have a support team who believes in you and listens. My parents are real super heroes for all that they’ve done for me.

I wish for new ostomates to know that it does get easier. Better in fact. All the little things you stress about now, you’ll laugh about later that you ever did. There’s so much support out there from other people just like us. We’re the most understanding people you could meet out there! Don’t be afraid to reach out.

Thank you @stouq.ostomylife for allowing me to reach more people a hug 😇😌😍
